Mr. Tadashi Machida makes forged hunting knife, cooking knife, Japanese razor, and so much variety of cutleries, because he has great base of forging cutlery background, lots of experiments, researches, and experiences. He has always checked up the blades that he has made with metal microscope. It is not only experiences. He study cutlery by science side too. The blade was made by multiplex layer Talefu V2 Steel blade. Takefu V-2 blade is pure carbon steel, and it is very similar to V-1 steel. It has just little lower Carbon content. Jigane is blackish finish nickel Damascus The Damascus pattern is very tight layers, and it is also the layers by blade edge has so many closed layers, so I canít count how many layers by naked eyes. The leather sheath is also made by Mr. Mahida. He also does not use spring hammer with this knife making processes. He had used just hammer.
